Made with Avocados .. this recipe is so simple and made in minutes.
Ingredients:
- Avocados --2
- Onion -- 1 (I used 3 small shallots)
- Tomato -- 1
- Salt and pepper
- A bunch of coriander leaves
- Juice of half a lemon
- Garlic cloves -- 2-3
Recipe:
- Cut the avocado length-wise. Twist it and remove the stone.
- Add everything to the mashed avocados. Squeeze lemon juice. Add salt and pepper. That's it. Guacamole is ready...:)
- How do I use it ? ....as a side to parathas(flat-bread), sandwich spread, dip and the obvious Mexican side.......!!!

- About 1 and 1/2 cups
Notes:
- Choose ripe avocados. Press the skin, if you can push it a little it is ripe, otherwise leave it for one or two days till it ripens.
- You can add fresh green chilies to make it a bit spicy.

ReplyDeleteI make guac the same way you make it..just omit the garlic and dont mash it completely..i like to have little chunks of avocado in the guac..i really liked the idea of serving it in the avocado shells :)
